    Hi Michael, I’m afraid the product importer deluxe still isn’t working properly even on a default site.

    When I import my csv, all the columns show correct in the back end import boxes, but when the import is complete, they are all messed up in the results table and on site i.e. description in the sku, no sku, no images, everything a real mess.
    2 of 6 products managed to import but incorrectly. One had description and price etc in the right place but with other errors and no images etc. the other product has everything in the wrong place and is completely messed up.

    For some reason the importer detects 15 columns when there is only 6 or 7.
    Is there anything I can do to fix this ?

    Hi Kier, this is typically due to cells not being wrapped in quotes, in the 3.1.6 Plugin update I added some fixes to better detect this (line ending detection and auto-wrap of cells in quotes). Check your CSV with a text editor to confirm and change the cell type via Excel or your preferred spreadsheet editor then resave. If you get stuck after this contact me directly as it could be the line endings not being detected correctly.
