    When I select the values to export, a file named ‘csv’ is generated for download without any separating values such as a comma or tab, e.g.:

    Product SKUProduct NamePriceSale PriceQuantity
    COL001Top 12 Wines for 12% Less (Mixed Case)156813793

    … instead of:

    Product SKU,Product Name,Price,Sale Price,Quantity
    COL001,Top 12 Wines for 12% Less (Mixed Case),1568,1379,3

    Furthermore, the ‘Quantity’ value is incorrect.

    Please let me know what I should do.

    Hi enzo, it looks like the Plugin defaults aren’t being set when the Plugin is first activated, can you add the following to the Settings screen and click Save.

    Export filename: export_%dataset%-%date%-%time%.csv
    Field delimiter: ,
    Category separator: |
    Field escape formatting: all

    I’ll do some digging to see why the default values weren’t being set for you.

    I’ll let you know if the incorrect ‘Quantity’ value persists.


    Confirmed: the ‘Quantity’ value is now correct. 🙂

    FYI previously ‘Quantity’ values like ’35’ ‘1176’ and ‘1696’ were appearing as ‘3’ ’17’ and ’69’ respectively. If that helps(?)

    Awesome, I beefed up the Plugin activation script so that those fields are checked for and if they don’t exist pre-populated for the first export 🙂
