    Hi,

    I have updated WooCommerce Store Exporter Deluxe to version 2.0.3. While I want to export Subscriptions in XLS or XLSX format, the downloaded file can not be opened by MS Office 2016. It says file corrupted and then if open the file anyway, it shows the content in ambiguous character. The content is in non-English language. However, if I download the same file from Archive, that is in the right format! This situation happens for XLS or XLSX format, CSV export fine.

    How can I export in XLS or XLSX format ? I will appreciate any suggestions to resolve this issue.

    Hi maxbstripp, I’ve run into this with isolated stores where another WordPress Theme or Plugin is introducing a rogue ‘space character’ into the file stream while sending the export file to the browser.

    This is why you can download the files correctly via Archives (as the export file has been generated and saved to the WordPress Media directory) but not via the Export screen where we load the export file and send it through the browser’s file buffer (and it gets corrupted by other WordPress Themes and Plugins).

    Feel free to open a Support ticket via the Support page so I can look into this with you but I suspect the above conflict is due to another WordPress Plugin or Theme sharing our ‘export’ action and not using the WordPress security tokes (noonce) to only run when it’s being called.
