tried several times with different files, and amounts of rows.

takes a long time, then either goes to a blank page, or several times. I get:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/timd234/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce-product-importer-deluxe/includes/functions.php on line 1505

    all good figured it out.

some reason my file was 18mb (not sure why). copied an old one and tried 1 row.

    600kb

    >> but my tags didnt transfer, and one of my 2 categories didnt either. not earth shattering but would save me a few minutes of repetitive entry.

Hi gregmet, were you importing new Products or merging Product changes? If you can send a copy of the CSV you’re using I can see what’s going on (to michael@visser.com.au) as well as a clarification of what Tags and/or Categories were skipped (there would have been mention of skipped Tags in the Import Log). Looking at saving import logs to either WordPress as a CPT or a directory (like WooCommerce does) in the next release of PID to assist in import debugging but this latest update is a major overhaul from previous releases.

    ok, will do.

also now i just remembered, I had it set to low cats, and I did add my upper categories.

that part had always gone smoothly in previous versions.

    anyway I’ll detail all that.

Hi gregmet, thanks for the heads up, I’ll have a play with that feature this week as it may have come un-hooked for one of the Category levels (we process Categories on each level, Category>Category>Category)
