I cannot make sense of the data export. When opening in excel or word pad im getting a jumble of characters. Tried importing as xml as well and received fatal error. Not sure if it is something on my end or not. Not quite sure where to begin…

I’m getting the same issue. My CSV export is fill of random gibberish.

Same story here. It worked fine until I updated the plugin.

Hi goatchild903, looking at line #479 in the Plugin it seems like the File Encoding value set on the Settings tab is not compatible with SimpleXML (we use SimpleXML to generate the XML structure of our XML file exports).

Can you open the Settings tab of Store Exporter Deluxe and ensure that it is set as well as confirm what is saved, try changing it to UTF-8 if possible too. I’ve made a change in 1.6.6 that may help detect this case too. The update goes out in a few minutes so will be ready for you to use. 🙂

    Hi Michael,

I am still experiencing the same problem. I am using store exporter deluxe for woocommerce version 1.6.5. There is no possibility to update to 1.6.6 for me..
I have the settings on UTF-8. It is becomming prety unconvenient because I need the export file of the transactions before I can order new stock. I can think of other ways to do it but it would be more convenient if it would work like it did before.

    Please help.

New update solved the problem. Thanks!

Hi AllesVoorUwSmartphone.nl, *punching the air*, great news! Happy exporting!
