    Having issues with groups/categories. Problem is trying to build a grocery cart with multiple categories, some of them containing the same description. This happens trying to do a multiple upload using importer deluxe.

    Product category in xcel would look like this
    Seafood>Tuna
    Frozen>Seafood>Tuna

    Category For example:
    Seafood
    tuna
    lobster
    crab
    Frozen
    seafood
    tuna
    lobster

    Problem is when imported importer deluxe places lobster in all places. It does not pay attention to the parent child relationship. It places the item in all categories.

    I can fix it but I have to go into each and every product and turn off “seafood” in the categories that do not match.

    This is an example:
    http://www.grocerybelles.com/products-page/frozen/seafood/

    The main category is frozen. There is frozen seafood, canned seafood and fresh seafood. ALL seafood is showing under this link.

    Help!!!

    Category 1>Mens>T-Shirts
    Category 2>Mens>T-Shirts
    Category 3>Mens>T-Shirts
    Category 4>Mens>T-Shirts

    I add Category 1>Mens>T-Shirts to the CSV it uploads to every sing T-Shirts category (And likewise Mens if I add Category 1>Mens)
    This is a real problem for me as my client paid for this module and they have a huge CSV waiting to import.

    Is there A solution for this?

    Hi bbruno1973, please update to the latest release. I’m now looking into the Category import issue as opposed to Category linking issue you’re encountering.
