Hi.
I’m not sure how best to describe this but I have had 3 ecommerce projects recently (one using WP e-commerce and 2 new ones using WooCommerce) and both clients have requested a method of syncing stock levels with their in-store POS systems, so that the any sale occurring in one ‘venue’ updates the other’s stock levels. Though I doubt ‘live-syncing’ is realistic, it would be great to at least have an import/export facility for WooCommerce (and/or WP e-Commerce for that matter), that would allow periodic stock level ‘updating/sycing’ between the two systems.
Any thoughts on this?
Hi sunstardave, I’ll attach both a sample Product export and Order exports, we do 3 different Order export formats (we call them Order Item Formatting), since you’re importing I’ll attach them as CSV files (we do CSV, XML, RSS, XLS, XLSX).
We support the Quantity field within Product exports, or in the case of Orders you can use the Order Item: Stock field for seeing the remaining stock level of Products assigned to Order Items.
