My wordpress woocommerce store is using a lot of Cyrillic texts as my customers are all based in Thai. After purchasing the Store Export Deluxe I have struggled for several hours to export my customers orders but most of the fields, which contain users data such as names, addresses etc are visualized in “???????????????????”.
I have tried all different kinds of approach – BOM character, choosing UTF-8 as character encoding and afterwards opening the csv in OpenOffice with UTF-8 encoding – nothing seems to help. Any suggestions on what I might do?

Hi pitchsue, you’ve likely done everything right, we have not rolled out character encoding support to Orders yet, this will go out as soon as we can be confident that our initial roll out to Products, Categories and Product Tags works. Can you please try one of these other exports to confirm.

Just updating this topic, we’ve rolled out full file encoding support including Orders, please update to the latest release of Store Exporter and Store Exporter Deluxe.
