    Hi,

    I have just updated to the latest version of 2.6.5 and have issues trying to import my product list

    I receive an error of category not found yet the category exists

    In the csv file i have set as Event Photos>Party1 as per the example csv and now the importer will not work

    I have checked http://www.visser.com.au/wp-ecommerce/plugins/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/sample-deluxe1.csv but the file can not be found

    can any one provide any details how to get these category to work correctly?

    Hi anders, can you please confirm whether you’re manually assigning Product images during import or not, this will help me to narrow down your issue. In my test sites the import process for 2-level deep sub-category linking is now working.

    Hi,

    i have assigned an image name in the csv and then uploading the image via an ftp client due to the number of products we would like to add this will be the best method to manage the uploads

    Hi anders, good stuff, I tend to use the CSV image filename option aswell for larger volume stores.

    Hi,

    Having testing a bit more it appears that first level category works fine for importing the images but if i had a second level then it fails

    i.e

    Events = works
    Events>Winter = Fail

    the above method i used from the old csv sample sheet so not sure if this changed in the recent version upgrade? have you managed to reupload the new csv sample sheet?

    Hi anders, I’m working to apply the same category-linking support that’s in the new Product Importer Deluxe to Product Categories Importer. I hope to have an update and hopefully a Plugin update out this afternoon so we can confirm this solution is working.

    This has been resolved in the latest Plugin update.
