    Hi there,

I’m setting up an online store for a client and have purchased the Send to a Friend module. I have two questions:

1.) For some reason the Send to a Friend form is appearing on one of my Product Listing pages (and I don’t want it to). The page in question is: http://www.uniquefrance.com.au/products/tableware/dinnerware

It doesn’t appear on the other product listing pages, just this one. Some other Visser Labs add-ons are also appearing here and again shouldn’t be. Any idea why? How do I get this to stop?

2.) The client has requested that I don’t show the whole Send to a Friend form all the time. I.e. they want a button that the user can click on and then it shows them the form. Do you reckon I could just wrap a div around the form and link it to a button which displays the DIV when clicked (maybe using Jquery or something)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

Hi Mike, I’ve made some recent changes to both of those Plugin in use; I’ll test them out on my own development sites then release them. Regarding hiding the Send to a Friend form you’re on the right track, some basic jQuery/Javascript will do that; if you’re happy with the result please send it in as I’ll include it in a future release.

    Hi Michael,

I’ve managed to work out what the issue was with the plugins appearing on the product group pages, this was only an issue when trying to follow an incorrect link to a child category page. Now that I’ve resolved that I’m trying to sort out the plugin placement on the single product page.

Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any options for controlling placement. We’re using product meta info and this is appearing below the plugin which looks completely out of place. Is there something we can do about this?

The Add to Wishlist plugin I’ve been able to place manually which is okay for now but both the Facebook Like and Send to a Friend Plugins need to be moved below the product dimensions: http://uniqugp.customers.ilisys.com.au/products/art/paintings/oil-on-wood-panel-xixth-cent/

Hi mjmcmahon, I’ll take a look at this once I’m back in Wellington on Tuesday, thanks for your patience.
