What does a blocked customer see at checkout?

The customer sees the custom denial message you set in Checkout Guard. The order does not go through. You decide the wording, which means you can keep it neutral or firm depending on the situation.

Can I block a customer by email only, without a name?

Yes. Email alone is enough to block, and so is an IP address on its own. Name matching is the exception: Checkout Guard needs both the first and last name to match before it blocks, so a first name on its own will not stop an order.

Does Checkout Guard block guest checkouts?

Yes. Checkout Guard checks the name, email, and IP address at checkout, regardless of whether the customer is logged in or buying as a guest.

Will blocking a customer cancel their existing orders?

No. Existing orders are not touched. Checkout Guard only stops new orders from being placed by anyone whose email, name, or IP address matches an entry on your block list.

Does Checkout Guard work with all payment gateways?

Yes. The block happens at the WooCommerce checkout layer before payment is attempted, so it works with every payment gateway you have configured.

Can I add a note explaining why someone was blocked?

Yes, though not from the add-entry dialog. Every blocked entry carries a Notes field that shows in the Blocked Entries list, and it is set through Checkout Guard's REST API. The list also records which user added each entry, which covers most of the same ground.

Is Checkout Guard a full fraud prevention tool?

No, and that is the point. Checkout Guard is a simple WooCommerce fraud prevention utility for blocking specific customers you already know about. It does not score risk, call external APIs, or run a rules engine. It can match an IP address, but only one you add to the list yourself. If you need IP reputation data and automated risk scoring, look at FraudLabs Pro or YITH Anti-Fraud. If you need a block list, Checkout Guard is what you want.

How is Checkout Guard different from a WooCommerce blacklist plugin?

Will my customers need new passwords?

No. Custom Login for WooCommerce uses the standard WordPress and WooCommerce login, so every existing account, password and order history stays as it is. Customers sign in with the same details on the new page.

Does Custom Login for WooCommerce change the WordPress admin login?

No. Custom Login for WooCommerce handles the customer login at /login and the redirect from My Account. Your wp-admin login screen isn’t changed.

Where does the login page live?

At yoursite.com/login. Activating the plugin creates a Login page with that address if your site doesn’t already have one.

Can customers sign in with their email address?

Yes. The login field accepts either a username or an email address, just like standard WordPress.

Can I show a different promotion on each visit?

Yes. Turn on rotating content on the Content tab and add as many items as you like. Each item has its own heading, text, button and image, and one is shown at random on each visit.

What does the promo panel look like on mobile?

You choose. The Mobile Promo Display setting either hides the promo on small screens, which is the default, or stacks it below the login form.

Does it work with CAPTCHA plugins?

The login page runs WooCommerce’s standard login form hooks, so CAPTCHA plugins that add a check to the WooCommerce login form can add it here. Version 1.0.3 includes fixes for Cloudflare Turnstile and reCAPTCHA protection on /login.
