Hi scotthenshaw, I know we’ve talked via e-mail and Facebook and resolved your image import query but this is for posterity.
To assign multiple Product images within your Excel spreadsheet you need to separate each Image filename or URL with a ‘Category separator’, by default this is set to ‘|’ (vertical pipe character). You do not need to end the Image column with a Category separator, just for each new image as below.
For instance:
Image column
http://www.domain.com/images/image1a.jpg (single image)
http://www.domain.com/images/image1a.jpg|http://www.domain.com/images/image1b.jpg (two images)
http://www.domain.com/images/image1a.jpg|http://www.domain.com/images/image1b.jpg|http://www.domain.com/images/image1c.jpg (three images)
This rule also applies for assigning multiple Categories, Tags and other Product fields that support multiple items (e.g. Related Products). Hope this helps.
