Hi Michael, that is a limitation of that feature, to resolve this I’ll be moving the export trigger feature within Scheduled Exports in a future Plugin update that way you can configure the export rules within the Scheduled Export and set it to run for every new Order, etc. Open up a Support ticket as I can request store login and assist directly via Support.
