Hi guys,
Just letting you know that I installed and activated the plugin on our site today and it’s not working. We’re using:
WordPress 3.2.1
WP e-Commerce 3.8.7.1
Our permalink structure is the month and name option (from Settings >> Permalinks) which is pretty typical.
I tried changing the “products-page” slug to “bookstore”, however when I visit website.com/bookstore it just shows the 404 page. The website.com/products-page is still working fine. So it seems that the plugin isn’t working at all at the moment. š
Hi Paul, this Plugin needs an overhaul to support the latest WP e-Commerce 3.8 release. I’ll look at merging this into Store Toolkit and deprecating this Plugin.
The plugin didn’t work for me. Nothing changed and the widget checkout still has different url than checkout page. Checkout page works OK … only widget not working as clicking the word “checkout” only refreshes page. Just where is the ‘link’ to change??
Hi Brian, if you’re using WP e-Commerce 3.8 you’ll notice a new menu item under Settings called Manage Permalinks. From here you can update the URL’s of critical WP e-Commerce Pages.
If this fails try enabling/disabling WP e-Commerce and/or reseting the Page Permalink structure from Settings > Permalinks clicking Save changes.
The readme.txt file that is in the plugin is the wrong doc (it’s the readme for Facebook Like Button for WP e-Commerce) Can you please correct this so I can see the instructions for use.
thanks
Hey Nicole, seems my file comparison program has run amuck and scrambled a few of my readme.txt Plugin files, updating to 1.0.1 now. š
thanks Michael š
