Fresh out of development and into the Shop is my latest solution, Manual Ordering for WP e-Commerce, allowing store owners to manually process walk-in’s/mail orders through the WordPress Administration.
This solution includes support for order and customer details including:
- First Name
- Last Name
- E-mail address
- Shipping Street
- Shipping Suburb/City
- Shipping State
- Shipping Postcode
- Shipping Country (with full country listing defaulting to base country set in Store > Settings)
- Order Status (defaulting to Accepted Payment)
This is an initial release so I encourage feedback and ideas/feature requests for future releases. In the meantime, take a look at the screenshots below then jump through to the detailed plugin page.
This one’s been a long time coming… I’ve created an addon for WP e-Commerce that enables store owners to apply wholesale pricing rules to Users of their shop. Pretty neat!
As this is an initial release I’ll be steering future versions based on your feedback. Here are some features I want to add in future versions:
- Add a Wholesale field to the Add/Edit Product page that overrides the default percentage-based markup.
- Add an Admin Page to manage markup
- Assign different markup levels on a per-Product basis
I’ll put up a demo site soon so those interested can see it working for themselves. Wholesale Pricing for WP e-Commerce is available from the Shop or the Wholesale Pricing page within WP e-Commerce Addons.
Fox Valley over on the Get Shopped Support Forums raised an unsupported situation in WP e-Commerce where store owners wish to process orders on behalf of the customer (e.g. walk in, mail order, phone order, etc.). WP e-Commerce currently has no support for this so thought I’d make the most of this long weekend and roll out a solution.
Update: Manual Ordering for WP e-Commerce is now available from the Shop as a WordPress Plugin.
