My bulk product importer solution for WP e-Commerce has been out in the wild for over a month now and in this time have collected feedback and now implementing feature requests.

First off the production line is support for product quantity and limited quantity. How this works is if a Product (row in the master product catalague – CSV file) has an empty Product quantity value then it is considered unlimited, otherwise the limited quantity option is activated and the value provided is the quantity of product remaining.

Customers who already have purchased Product Importer Deluxe for WP e-Commerce can click the link on their original e-mail to download the latest release. I am working to allow customers to log in and view their purchases as well as be notified of updates available across my Shop.

Update: I’ve since noticed in the latest beta that WP e-Commerce now supports the ability to notify the store owner once a Product runs out of stock. I’ll be added control of this setting within the Import Options region of Step 2/3 of the import process in the next update.
